I sewed together the top portion of the wrap today and added the bias tape trim! 
Eventually I'd like to line the inside of the shrug, but right now I don't have the money and I'm not sure if I want to go with a fabric or a lining lining, like the silky kind that's in coats....not sure yet.
I'm just waiting on one of the tails. It should be dry now, but I have to touch up a few paint spots before I can sew the tails to the shrug.
Next step, then, is to find some buttons to use for her clasps and make the little strip of fabric to hold the hood together at my neck.
I'm so excited she's finally coming together!

Woo hoo! Slowly but surely, everything's falling into place. You're close to being able to mark another thing off of the to-do list! It seems to me that "marathon" would be a good synonym for "cosplay costume-making", as you've been slogging through this for many months now... But think, once this costume is done and done, you'll celebrate for a week, wear it to a few cons.
Then, of course, you'll move onto Mage Hawke. One step at a time though, and who knows, you might get attached to the Tali'Zorah costume. Warn me if "costume" is not the correct term, I'm not exactly hip when it comes to these things.
