First go at my Quarian feet.
Yeah...
Still figuring out what I'm doing shoe-wise/how I'm making my shoes Quarian-like.
I do know I want to get some of those sneaker wedges that are popular these days---the ones that look like sneakers but have a hidden wedge in them? That way I get the extra lift and "leg enhancement" that will help with the dog-legged look. And with them being a hidden wedge heel, the "sole" will still be flat so I'll still be a flat-footed Tali, but with that extra, hidden flair.
The toes are made from a scrap of black fabric I had lying aboot and stuffed with the cut down foam version of my previous Quarian toes.
And then the little "sock" was sewn onto my mismatched socks. They didn't have their partners and they've been missing for awhile, so I figured, why not "destroy" them for the sake of a cosplay prototype?

I have a better idea, build the shoe out about one inch, then have a matching grove be black that goes over the foot an aditional inch and a half. Eyes will see the separation and then look elseware.
