Description
I wanted to try a new style with this one. I wanted to go for a more "paintery" look. I, for one, am quite pleased with how this turned out and had quite a bit of fun with it. 
This is of my dear friend's cat and I want to give this to her and her family when we get together this weekend after not seeing each other for quite some time.
While I've wished my friend would get a D.A., I'm actually glad right now she doesn't have one so I can post this without her seeing it.
Suggestions/comments/critiques are greatly appreciated

for starters, I love the fact that you named this piece "mittens" I think it adds a really warm feeling to it.
I like how the screen shot is kind of tilted, leaving the paws stretched out with a dramatic feel.
I love the shadows under the arm of the cat, making it more realistic.
I maybe would have suggested that you put your signature in the bottom left corner, so it isn't the first thing your eyes go to, other than that I think it's great!
It's very realistic and I can tell how hard you worked to make it that way, keep up the good work!
