So...I was supposed to be finding the missing arm for my Tali'Zorah jumpsuit and getting that whole thing ready for painting....instead I made this: the tunic for my Mage Hawke. ^^
It started out as a denim-ish dress I got from the shoppe I work at. Then I cut the entire front skirt off, which I later realised I shouldn't have done as I had to sew it back on and together or else I had a crop top with a butt cape.
I'm going to add a front denim panel to the tunic since it looks like that's what Hawke has. And this way it'll hide the zipper (the front of the tunic is actually the back of the dress so I can get it on and off easier).
The red is a curtain thing I got from Goodwill that I bought to make a bustle skirt with. Well, I have enough of the stuff and it was the right colour with the denim that I used it for the red of Hawke's "tails".
Pretty basic. Probably took me 2-3 hours to cut it and sew it back together.
Hopefully this weekend I'll have some money to buy some fur for the collar and the belt and I already have material to start making the belt.

Very cool! From looking for an arm, to SUDDENLY TUNIC. I swear, I need to not drink while I'm reading stuff. You'd better be glad I avoided death by Dr. Pepper. Honestly, "butt cape"...
